IM4 Media Lab is pleased to invite you to our Screening and Networking Celebration of the IM4 Virtual Production Storytelling Micro-Credential Cohort with a final dinner hosted on Saturday, August 26 from 1:00pm – 7:00pm in the Reliance Theatre at Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
Na wa shéw̓ay̓ ta sp’en̓ém translates from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw to “the seed is growing” 🌱🌱🌱
The seeds of new technologies, AI, VR, XR, VP are growing exponentially and we are not staying behind. We invite you to be part of the weaving of next gen technology and timeless Indigenous traditions, as we nurture spaces for Indigenous narratives to take the spotlight. The IM4 Media Lab and the Media Matriarchs are leading Visionaries who are bringing Indigenous ways, stories and offerings to our techverse.
How can the Indigenous perspective help shape the ecoverse? How can Indigenous ways and stories enrich Virtual Production? What are the opportunities for filmmakers and digital media artists?
As we celebrate our cohort of the IM4 Virtual Production Storytelling Micro-Credential and their films, join us for an day of presentations, ar exhibitions discussions that showcase the potential of Virtual Production and Digital Media, and how years of work are finally sprouting at a critical time in shaping our collective digital futures.
