MFBM Augmented Reality Youth Workshop
The Discovery Foundation presents the Mentoring for and by the Matriarch program. This November 27 (4pm-6pm) & 28th (1-3pm) IM4 will be co-hosting with Britannia Centre an online Augmented Reality Youth Workshop with instructor Dallas Flett-Wapash.

In this workshop participants will get an introduction into AR, learning about how to create within the Unity Game engine. It will included a step by step process for students to follow along, live online interaction with instructor, and mentoring segments by the IM4 Matriarchs about their creative processes building an immersive project and pursing a career in digital media/tech field. No coding or AR experience required.
Please have a parent/guardian download Unity software, which is a free application for video game developers recommended by ECUAD, ahead of the workshop.
The workshop takes place online. If you do not have your own equipment including computer/laptop, webcam and access to Wi-Fi/internet, please contact tom.higashio@vancouver.ca; a limited number of spaces are available at Britannia Centre.
