IMMERSIVE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER SERIES

During June/July 2020 the IM4 lab and the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), co-presented the ‘IM4 Immersive Knowledge Transfer Series, with 8 live webinars. The series celebrates how Indigenous and diverse artists and storytellers are creating narratives and territories within immersive technologies that flows from our cultural based values, such as reciprocity and relationality. The list of guest speakers include Jason Edward Lewis, Nyla Innuksuk, Amelia Winger-Bearskin, Nancy Lee, Suzanne Kite, Dallas Flett-Wapash, Travis Mercredi, Casey Koyczan, Kari Kehaul Noe and Candace Galla.
